The Flavours.
We put love and care into all our cakes, sourcing our dry goods from a local refill store, using as much seasonal and local fresh produce as possible. We try to be as plant based as possible and when we do use dairy and eggs it is always local and always free range. Floral additions are homegrown and edible or supplied by local lovelies. Take your pick of carefully considered flavours and combinations.
Chocolate and Salted Caramel
Intense chocolate sponge filled with a homemade salted caramel and coated in a deep chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream.
Vanilla and Raspberry
The classic - airy vanilla sponge laced with fresh raspberries, drizzled with a raspberry compote and sandwiched with vanilla frosting.
Coffee and Cardamom
Single origin coffee cake with 70% chocolate pieces and a dose of sweet and earthy cardamom. Smoothly covered with a sweet cardamom Swiss meringue icing.
Blackberry and Pistachio
Pistachio sponge studded with fresh blackberries and sandwiched with a blackberry compote. Will contain nuts.
Elderflower and Lemon
Homemade elderflower cordial soaked sponge, spiked with lemon zest and layered with a homemade lemon curd.
Carrot and Pear
Lightly spiced carrot and pear sponge. With choice of a sharp yoghurt icing or sweet swiss meringue buttercream.
Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb
Being based in West Yorkshire we have a lot of love for rhubarb. This is a light vanilla sponge with local Yorkshire forced rhubarb compote. Seasonal availability - Jan to March/April only.
Coconut and Chocolate
Rich coconut sponge sandwiched with a smooth dark chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and encrusted with toasted coconut flakes. Will contain nuts.
